STEFANO BASSO

After earning a master’s degree in Narrative Techniques, he embarked on a career in the world of cinema, working for major Italian production companies. Over the course of ten years of professional growth, he became Delegate Producer at Fandango, where he worked on projects of various kinds with some of the most highly acclaimed and award-winning writers and directors in Italy and internationally. In 2017, he joined Warner Bros. Italia as Local Production Executive, dealing with the production of Italian films co-produced and distributed by that studio. He also has long experience as an independent producer, which has allowed him to build a solid network of foreign partners. The list of directors he has worked with includes Stefano Mordini, Matteo Rovere, Ferzan Ozpetek, Simone Godano, and Valentina Pedicini. Beyond cinema, he was Fandango’s Delegate Producer of the animated series Trulli Tales for Disney and Rai Ragazzi, and, for Fandango, supervised the acquisition of the rights to the major IP, Elena Ferrante’s My Brilliant Friend. Since November 2021, he has been Eagle Original Content’s Senior Executive Director of Content, Production and Strategy.
