The Bottacin family – Primo, Anna, and their son Tiberio – has the opportunity to relocate from the Veneto countryside to Treviso when Primo secures a government job as a postman. The move will have a profound effect on the Bottacin family, which will come to grips with a full-blown, collective coming of age: not of one family alone, but of an entire country. Young Tiberio will experience an age of transition, from adolescence to adulthood, which will of course culminate in the discover of sexuality when a porn cinema opens in the house next door.
